New FAA Requirement for FAA Certified Airmen, Engineers and Holders of Medical Certificates with foreign addresses
The FAA’s Advisory Circular AC3-1 requires that FAA certified airmen, engineers, holders of medical certificates and certain other certificates with non-US addresses must provide the FAA with a US resident Agent for Service. This requirement must be satisfied for airmen with airman certificates by no later than July 7, 2025. Applicants for such certificates must designate a US Agent for Service at the time of application. Designation of a U.S. Agent for Service will ensure timely transmission of important FAA correspondence and documents and will avoid holders of these certificates losing the privileges of their certificate, rating or authorization.

Once payment is received, we will provide you with our details which you will need in order to designate us as your Agent for Service via the FAA’s USAS website which you can find here https://usas.faa.gov./disclaimer
- We Handle the Rest: We will receive and securely scan and email any FAA communications, ensuring you stay informed and compliant. If you need hard copies mailed or couriered, we can do that as well for the cost of the postage or courier.
